The CIH project already represents a strong, diverse group of individuals who are leading scientists in their countries – those chosen to be involved in Phases II and III were selected from an already strong field. All are ready and willing to commit to the multiple risk factor, multiple-setting intervention approach.
MATRIX Public Health Consultants, Inc.
The Evaluation Team for the CIH is housed at MATRIX Public Health Consultants, Inc., based in New Haven, United States. The Team will work closely with the study sites, providing training and technical assistance, and streamlining the data-collection process, and will also build the international database. The project director of the OxHA/CIH research programme is Dr Denise Stevens, president of MATRIX.
