Healthy range introduced by cake company

RHM, the company behind the Mr Kipling brand of cakes, have launched a new range of healthier options to improve sales. The ‘Delightful’ range has lower calories and fat, and the company has also removed all additives and preservatives from the Mr Kipling range. CEO Ian McMahon said this was the first time the cake market had been influenced by healthy eating pressures. (The Guardian, 15 December 2005)
